Savannah 2009

Since I am a chorus teacher, one of the fun trips that we take yearly is to Savannah for Georgia All-State Chorus. I went to All-State when I was in high school chorus, and now I am able to bring my students here as well! They are in rehearsals for hours, but it is so much fun and a wonderful singing experience. Here is Rob and I taking a break...we went to Uncle Bubba's Oyster House for lunch one day (without kids!)
Here is a massive "pirate" ship right on River Street. So very cool...

Every year my students who make it to All-State create a fun long-sleeved t-shirt. This year is said "We're all NATURALS!" a little music humor for everyone there.

Rob and I took a trip out to Tybee Island to see the light house and just walk around. Next year I want to go into the fort on the island. We didn't have enough time this year. We had to get back and get the girls from rehearsal.

On River Street with a ferry boat (and a homeless guy) in the background! It's always nice to be in Savannah.
