Rob's MawMaw turned 80 this past January, and the family threw her a huge suprise party. There were about 130ish people there, and she was completely surprised. Instead of doing a big cake we (the daughter-in-laws, and the grandchildren) made cupcakes. It was really cute.
Here she is entering the party when we all yelled "SUPRISE"...she's crying here. She had no idea, and she stayed like this for 5 minutes or so?!

Rob and I at the party...I obviously don't know how to rotate pictures in blogger yet. I'll learn!

Her money tree...let's just say I want a money tree at my 80th birthday party! The girl racked up...

After being in Orlando over new years we decided that we needed a change...sleeping in a double bed was no longer acceptable, so we went shopping! Here is Rooms To Go delivering the furiture.

The bed set up....
The finished product! Much more sleeping space, and much more comfortable.

Happy New Year!

We brought in the 2009 New Year in Orlando! We went to Disney World New Year's Eve with thousands of our closest friends. The park was so croweded that it reached capacity at 11:00am. At 10:00pm we decided that we had had our fill of Disney since you couldn't move! You litterally had to push through the crowd. We arrived back at our hotel room just in time to see 4 fireworks shows!
This is the first College football game that Rob and I have ever been to together and been able to sit with each other. Bulldogs won, and it was very exciting! Rob gave me some Georgia gear for Christmas so that I would be ready for the game; I still had a lot of navy, white and gold in my closet at this point.
We visited ICE! at Gaylord Palms Resort, all I can say is WOW!!! There were huge sclutpures made of ice. Chinese artist come in every year, and create a new theme for the exibit. Here is Rob in front of a Gingerbread ice house. By the way it was 9 degrees in the exibit, and Rob is wearing shorts....we weren't exactly prepared to go in.
Of course we had to get a little putt-putt in! The was great trip, and a great way to bring in our first New Year's as a married couple.
